FOCUS SESSION
English focus sessions will look at the complexity of some of the comprehension texts. We will cover not only the reading texts but the aspects of grammar, punctuation and literacy techniques children need to be familiar with. Technical English questions usually account for around 25% of a student’s English score. The other 75% is made up of comprehension questions. As such, it forms a key part of the assessment. Cost £75.00
DATES Week commencing: 10th March, 17th March and 24th March (Tuesday 5:30pm or Saturday 3:30pm)

Homework
PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO LINK: -https://youtu.be/nbfqePUk1os - BODMAS before the lesson. This can replace a 10min test and children will receive 2 raffle tickets for doing so.
CGP Practice Books 9 - 10 books - Maths Pages 2-5, NVR Pages 2 - 5.
Finish the booklet from the lesson and return in the following week. Remember to complete the vocab in context.
REMEMBER: to mark the homework with your child and bring it to next lesson.

This week’s KAHOOT: Vocab Quiz 20 03011918 (due 9th March 8pm) www.kahoot.it. Use your name. Name1, Name2 etc. This way we can identify who you are to give you a raffle ticket per play. The person with the highest score will receive 10 raffle tickets!
